We received correspondence from the US Embassy last night. They requested additional information about Ella's background and the documents provided with her file. We are hoping this will be resolved quickly so I can travel to pick her up. However, we support the US Embassy's efforts to make sure all adoptions from Ethiopia are ethical.
Please pray that the agency is able to gather the information in a reasonable amount of time so it can get to the embassy as quick as possible. We want Ella in her forever home.
Also, please keep the people in Africa in your prayers. There is a large scale famine in part of Africa right now. http://www.un.org/ecosocdev/geninfo/afrec/vol16no4/164food1.htm
